Savvy travelers know that checking a bag is rarely a good idea. We've all dealt with lost luggage, delays at baggage claim, or the frustration of a broken bag (courtesy of the cargo hold). Putting your luggage into the airlines' hands is risky.

Traveling with a carry on backpack is a better, safer choice.
